Field Visit #6

Image
Time: November 27 at 12:15 pm Temperature: 42° F Weather: Cloudy and rainy  Day length: 9 hours and 22 minutes (7:50am-5:12pm) Observations:  I noticed that there were lots of different bird call during my visit, I for sure heard three different ones and there were probably more. Other than that everything looked very similar to my last visit, it looked like almost all the plants were dead, accept for the grass and small plants on the ground. Changes: This visit was very similar to my last, almost nothing changed between these two visits. But from the beginning of my visits a lot has changed. One specific thing is these weeds/flowers(see picture below), in the beginning they were yellow, as time went on it seemed like they had died and turned fluffy, almost like a dandelion. After that I though they really died but this visit it almost seemed like there was something new on them, but I cant tell it its new growth or remnants of the previous "fluff" Pictures Panorama of my are...

Field Visit #5

Time: November 13 at 2:10 pm Temperature: 35° F Weather: Snowing Day Length: 9 hours, 49 minutes (7:33am-5:22 pm) Observations:  The most obvious observation was that there was snow on the ground but I also noticed that well I was wandering around I heard no animals, birds or insects. I noticed that the snow was very wet and starting to melt and I think that had to do with the temperature only being a little below freezing. Changes: It looked like just about everything had died at this point, accept there was one little area of green where things seemed to be unaffected by the weather.
